WEB JOURNAL 2003-2005

This Journal is historical now, so just click on any month below to see the entries -- all the way back to January 2003 when I first started blogging!

If you are into the Americas Cup, there is a fantastic new way to enjoy it.
Virtual Spectator -- they put GPS and other monitors on the boats and you can "see" everything going on.
The boat positions, wind direction, speed, etc -- you can actually see the GPS readings from each boat's nav station.
Then it produces a virtual live diagram of the race course and the boats movements etc.
The software costs $10. but it will work in the future with any races that use it.
This is the first time it has been available.
Best to watch the race on TV, with the PC running Virtual Spectator at the same time.
