Elmore James' Birthday
I guess this excerpt form Lara's blog says it all:
Last night was a blast, I went into Philly with Alison and Jackie to meet up with Dad, Dina, Ron and Liz for my Dad's birthday. Great indian food, we sat at the big king's table with the drapes and everything, so good to see Daddy-o and Dinka and everyone! Alison and I were dead set on going out after that but after the cab ride from hell in an ice storm back to campus, we decided that we did not feel like digging our way back in four feet of snow in the early morning hours so no going out for me :( It was so crazy, our cab driver was praying for his life on the way back, we were going like 20 on the highway and we couldnt see anything.
