BC RUGBY
The BC Rugby machine is rolling. After a terrific spring tourny
season, the team was ranked in the top 25 pre-season nationally.
Last week thoroughly drubbed Dartmouth, and yesterday gave a BIG
surprise to 18th ranked Norwich military, winning by 40-12!
So next week should move up to about 15th on the national rankings.
Rugby Cookout
Dinka helped cook...and I helped eat.
Later we went out with the team to an Irish pub
and watched the Sox beat the Yanks on the big screens.
The place looked a bit like a makeshift battlefield
hospital scene, with battered, bruised and stitched
guys limping about the bar. Pretty smelly too since
some didn't find time to shower since the game yet.
